Description
You’ll join our Water team and be part of a UK-wide discipline of around 335 civil and structural engineers. The Leeds team primarily supports Yorkshire Water across a range of frameworks and contracts. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn from colleagues working on dams and reservoirs projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Supporting engineering activities from feasibility through to construction, including the production of detailed calculations, analysis and drawings
- Using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other industry software to present design solutions for clients
- Assisting in the preparation of reports, presentations, bids and proposals
- Providing technical input on civil engineering matters to support the wider project team
- Attending meetings and workshops with clients and colleagues from other disciplines
