£12.42 per hour

Hours

30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.00am - 3.30pm. Term time only. 

Requirements

  • GCSE maths and English at grades 9-4
  • Experience of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
  • Good team worker
  • Caring, friendly, adaptable and hardworking
  • Keen to support young children with their learning and structured play

An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required.

Description

The teaching apprentice will provide support within our Early Years Provision, including:

  • Delivering personalised learning programmes for pupils
  • Supporting individuals and groups within the setting
  • Working within the school’s behaviour policy to ensure all pupils’ behaviour is managed positively
  • Working closely with key members of staff to ensure positive outcomes for pupils
  • Liaising with parents and carers to ensure an enjoyable school experience for families
  • Providing verbal and written feedback to pupils about how well they have achieved and what they need to do next to further improve
  • Keeping records in line with school policies and procedures
